The leading sports technology company, offering innovative services, solutions and content to lotteries and betting operators across the globe, Sportradar, announced a new strategic collaboration in Taiwan on Tuesday. The company said Taiwan Sports Lottery selected it as its official technology and services solutions provider.
The new collaboration follows a competitive international tender process. The Lottery determined that Sportradar would be the best company to lead the transformation of the sports betting experience in the country, considering its extensive knowledge and supreme services and solutions. Under the terms of the new agreement, Sportradar became a part of a consortium that will run the lottery in Taiwan between 2024 and 2033.
The aforementioned consortium consists of a license holder, ADATA Technology, along with the Taiwan Sports Lottery Company Ltd (TSLC), serving as an operator, China Trust Bank and Sportradar. Undoubtedly, the new strategic collaboration further propels the presence of Sportradar within the Asia Pacific region.
Ted Lin, the Taiwan Sports Lottery Company’s president, explained that backed by Sportradar’s leading technological solutions, players in Taiwan will benefit from enhanced sports betting experiences. “With a proven track record of working with established lottery providers globally, we look forward to harnessing the synergies with Sportradar to transform the sports betting landscape in Taiwan,” he added.

As explained by Sportradar’s CEO, the new collaboration involves ORAKO, the company’s end-to-end sportsbook and player account management solution. Under the terms of the new collaboration, the company agreed to deploy the solution to more than 2,600 retail locations across the country. Moreover, ORAKO will also power the lottery’s mobile and online offerings. In addition to player management and sports betting platform, the lottery will benefit from streaming and marketing, among other services.
