Ulrik Bengtsson to Resign from Chairman Role at Raketech

As the chair and board member has accepted a full-time CEO role in an international company, he is prepared to stay with Raketech through the end of July to ensure the transfer of responsibilities

The leading online affiliate and content marketing company, Raketech, announced that its chairman will soon step down from his senior-level role after agreeing to transition to a full-time CEO position at another company. That’s the case for Ulrik Bengtsson, who joined the company several years ago and has played an important role in its growth since.

Bengtsson Accepted CEO Role with International Company

On Thursday, Raketech confirmed that Bengtsson will be stepping down from his chairman and board member role at the company. This happens after he has already accepted a full-time CEO role with an international company. Bengtsson confirmed that holding this role will eventually require him to vacate the senior-level roles at Raketech.

Speaking about the new position at the international company, whose name was not publicly disclosed, the executive said that he feels that assuming the CEO role is the right path for his career. “I am confident that the entire Raketech board and executive team remain dedicated to strengthening the balance sheet and shaping an exciting strategy that I expect will be unveiled to investors in the coming months,” Bengtsson added.

Raketech Is Positioned for Further Growth, Says Outgoing Exec

The executive joined the company back in May 2021. Since then, he has played an important role by providing advice and helping it navigate through different obstacles. Raketech acknowledged Bengtsson’s contribution and thanked him for his dedication and efforts.

After becoming a part of the C-suite at the company, he resigned from his CEO role at William Hill. His career at the recognizable betting and gaming company dates back to the spring of 2018 when he initially joined it as chief digital officer. A year later, William Hill promoted Bengtsson to CEO role.

Bengtsson spoke about Raketech’s solid position in the iGaming vertical. “I firmly believe Raketech has the potential to be a key player in the global iGaming ecosystem, both now and in the future, and that the company is well-positioned to generate substantial returns for all shareholders over time,” he explained.

Per Raketech’s announcement, Bengtsson is committed to stay with the company through July 30. Until then, he will be helping with the transfer of responsibilities.
