Universal Horror Unleashed in LV to Open to Public in August
Universal Horror Unleashed, a massive horror attraction opening August 14 at Las Vegas’ AREA15, will offer year-round thrills with immersive haunted houses, live entertainment, and themed dining

Las Vegas is about to become even more exciting, if that’s even possible, with the freshly announced arrival of “Universal Horror Unleashed,” a massive new horror attraction debuting on August 14 at the AREA15 entertainment complex.
Tickets are already on sale for this ambitious project for a price of $69, while unlimited access for a selected date and time costs $99.
2.5 Acres of Immersive Horror Experiences
Spanning an impressive 110,000 square feet (2.5 acres), the attraction promises an immersive horror experience crafted by Universal Destinations & Experiences, the masterminds behind the iconic “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios theme parks.
Visitors can expect intricately designed haunted houses inspired by classic and modern horror, along with live entertainment, themed dining, and bars catering to horror fans.
Among the terrifying experiences awaiting guests are Universal Monsters, a haunted house inspired by iconic movies like Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Wolf Man looking to offer a fresh take on Universal’s most famous creatures while on their popularity from past “Halloween Horror Nights” events.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will invite guests to step into the world of Leatherface and his chilling domain, bringing the horrors of the 1974 slasher classic to life, while The Exorcist: Believer, a house based on the 2023 film The Exorcist: Believer, will mark the collaboration between Universal and Blumhouse Productions.
Scarecrow: The Reaping is Universal Creative’s original concept envisioned as an eerie house first introduced at “Halloween Horror Nights” in Orlando in 2017 and Hollywood in 2018 and is set to terrify guests once again.
A Bold Bet on Immersive Horror
As the anchor attraction for AREA15’s 20-acre expansion, Universal Horror Unleashed is part of a larger vision to create a dedicated Vegas Immersive District.
Approved by the city in August 2023, this development will eventually include hotels, office spaces, and extensive retail and dining options, spanning 80 acres.
The project, which is projected to attract roughly 3.5 million visitors every year and generate $796 million in on-site spending, is an important wager on the lasting appeal of horror entertainment.
If successful, it could completely change the way theme park companies look at permanent, genre-specific attractions.
