USA vs. Serbia 2024 Olympics Odds, Time, and Prediction
USA vs. Serbia is a semifinal duel of the basketball tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games. The game is on the program on Thursday, August 8

Team USA and Serbia meet again, just 10 days after the Americans blew Serbia out 110:84 in the first round of the Olympics. That game wasn’t as important as this one as it was played in the group stage. What this means is that the US “Dream Team” will take things even more seriously this time around. Does this mean Nikola Jokic & Co. are in trouble?

Team USA Looking Unstoppable
Some fans believe that this is the best roster Team USA has ever had at the Olympics. Those who say this use their recent performances to back this claim. Steve Kerr’s men have won every single game of the 2024 Olympics by at least 20 points. In fact, their least dominant performance of the tournament was against South Sudan, when we saw them win by 17 points.

Their biggest win happened in the quarterfinal against Brazil. The final score was 122:87 with Devin Booker being their top scorer. What’s interesting is that in every game a different player was the scoring leader of Team USA.
This shows that the US men’s Olympic basketball team isn’t just packed with superstars, but these guys work very well together.
Is Serbia In Trouble?
In the quarterfinal phase of the 2024 Olympics, we saw Serbia set a record. They came back from a 24-point deficit to beat Australia in overtime. It’s the biggest comeback in the history of the Olympics, but you can bet that they’d rather it didn’t happen as it’s probably made them exhausted, both physically and mentally.

On the bright side for them, their key men have started playing amazing basketball. Nikola Jokic was one assist short from making a triple-double against Australia, with Bogdan Bogdanovic and Vasilije Micic also putting on pretty impressive performances.
These are all NBA players we’re talking about, with Jokic being the reigning MVP. However, based on the USA vs. Serbia Olympic odds, they stand very little chance of getting to the Final.
Team US vs. Serbia Prediction
The odds of -2000 suggest Team USA is almost certain to win. In fact, these odds translate to a 95.2% probability that this scenario will play out. Our prediction is that it will. In fact, the only real question surrounding this match is whether the US will cover the 17.5-point spread. Given that the Americans beat Serbia by 26 points last time, we think they’ll cover the spread easily.
Pick: Team USA (-17.5)
